1. How does it Work?

2. What is required as part of Sign Up?
Basic information is required to ensure secure and private access to your information. Click Sign Up and you’ll be ready in minutes!
3. As a Buyer, do I need to Sign Up to make a payment?
No. UseMyBank does not maintain an account on your behalf. All accounts are with your existing Financial Institution. UseMyBank is a facilitation payment services that allows Sellers to accept payments directly from your existing online account and be notified in real-time. All authentication and payments are done through your Financial Institution.
4. Do I get a receipt for transactions that are made?
Yes. Both the Buyer and Seller receive a receipt of payments facilitated through UseMyBank.
5. As a Buyer, when does the money move from my account?
Immediately. It is just like making an online bill payment, except that instead of waiting for the confirmation to arrive, the Seller is provided with an instant notification of the payment. This allows the Seller to deliver the product and/or service immediately if they so desire.
6. Can I use my credit card?
No. UseMyBank is a debit-based service.
7. Who am I actually making the payment to?
When you use UseMyBank to make a payment, your receipt will usually show both the name of UseMyBank and the local payment system in your country that we work with to process payments.
8. What do you charge me for using UseMyBank to pay for a service or product online?
UseMyBank’s services are free for Buyers to use. Your bank may charge a minimal fee for use of their online banking services.
9. What type of contact will there be if I Sign Up with UseMyBank?
UseMyBank may occasionally contact users by email to inform you of new benefits and features, or to request participation in market surveys, or to inform users of changes to the Terms and Conditions of Use or Privacy Policy Statement. The UseMyBank Service offers an opt-out option to you when you sign up or use the UseMyBank Service. This is for those who do not wish to receive such messages. In order to ensure the quality of the UseMyBank Service, UseMyBank will send you certain types of messages from which you may not be able to opt-out. These include emails to confirm your participation, “notification” of personal or account information, and/or any other “customer satisfaction” and/or “customer service” issues.
10. Personal Information…What types does the UseMyBank Service collect?
Seller, Buyer, and Affiliate Information: Depending on you, the user, and which service(s) you are participating in within the UseMyBank Service, certain required information will be kept. In the case of the Sellers and Affiliates there will be considerable amounts of information kept. This will be disclosed during the Registration process. For the Buyers, we keep user names, email address, transaction details, and other critical information from a reporting and legal requirement perspective. UseMyBank at no time keeps logs, or archives your login information, for any services you use through UseMyBank. This type of information is only used during the transaction and is immediately deleted, and purged from cache from the UseMyBank system when the transaction is completed.
11. Why do I need to provide my personal information?
UseMyBank requires this information during the facilitation of transactions through our service in order to verify and complete the transaction. Prior to providing this information there will be a prompt to accept or reject the Terms and Conditions of Use for using the our service. We will use this information to access the Transaction Providers site that you have selected. This information will only be used to facilitate the appropriate transaction for you to ensure you are able to purchase the goods and/or services you have requested from the participating Seller. For security reasons, UseMyBank does not store, log, maintain, or otherwise keep your login information. We are only concerned with the confirmation of the payment and protection of the system.
12. How do I change my personal information that was previously disclosed?
The UseMyBank Service provides an email address for changing personal information for users that may be in error. You cannot update and/or change personal information that is retrieved by UseMyBank from third party web sites and/or Internet services for a particular transaction or request. For the Sellers and Affiliates, there are online forms to allow for information changes.
13. Do you support languages other than English?
English is the only supported language at this time, but as our global network grows, we do anticipate that we will be adding support in additional languages, as needed.
14. Do you support MAC OSX?
At this time we are aware that MAC support is not fully functioning for certain pages. These are related to pages, which use 128 Bit SSL encryption and Session-Cookies. We are anticipating to have this resolved in the near future.
15. My Financial Institution says they do not support your payment service. Why?
We act in the best interests of the Sellers, Buyers, Billier and Affiliates. That is our member base. We use similar technology to currently accepted practices on the Internet today. The Financial Institutions are the means to process transactions on the Buyers behalf, much the same way POS Debit, ATMs, and Credit Cards are processed today in the real world through various terminals, devices, processes, and mechanisms. We consider our payment service revolutionary in that it leverages the existing relationship with your Financial Institution to make Debit payments anywhere our services is used. We feel it is simple, easy to use, and provides the same level of use as in the real world POS Debit.
16. Do you have a list of Sellers who accept payments through UseMyBank?
Since many of our Sellers actually operate more than one web site but use a single UseMyBank account, the most accurate way of finding a complete list of websites accepting UseMyBank as a payment option, would be through a Google Search. Simply go to Google, enter UseMyBank as the search parameter – and you will be presented with a lengthy list of online Sellers accepting UseMyBank for payment

18. How safe is the card number and password I entered?
Your card number and password/Login information for the Financial Institution is only stored between your Secure 128-Bit encrypted browser session. The information is passed through our servers to your Financial Institution. We do collect certain information from an audit perspective to identify the Buyer to the payment with the Seller. This will include the Buyers email address, Telephone Number, Name, Address, and Confirmation/Reference number from the Financial Institution and entered into the site.
19. How do I delete my UseMyBank Account?
To have your account closed, and your information deleted from our system, simply send an email to support@usemybank.com requesting your account to be closed.
